Alex Stern

Always having what some might consider “lofty goals”, at just 23 years old; Alex Stern is proving he has the ability to back those goals up. As an artist manager for one of the most promising rising stars in the music industry, Sam Adams and owner of a flourishing clothing company, Eighties Babies USA, Stern is doing everything but sitting back and enjoying his success. With an immense passion for his projects combined with a desire to always be two steps ahead of the game, he has spent the last year juggling touring with Adams all the while handling the business and creative for both of his ventures.

Originally from Massachusetts, Stern went to the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was a Studio Art Graphic Design Major and where Eighties Babies USA was born. He quickly became obsessed with the idea of being able to share art and creativity in an efficient way and focused his efforts for the clothing line on social media and networking. With a rare and natural ability to combine his creativity with a keen business savvy, Stern quickly began to see success with the brand. It was during this time he teamed up with Sam Adams, who had been his best friend since high school and who he had always had immense respect for as a person and most of all, his music producing abilities. Translating the same concept of internet marketing and social networking, Adams had gone from free-styling for friends and making music in his dorm room, to an internet sensation within months. Stern naturally moved into a management position and less than a year later, Adams had a #1 iTunes Hip-Hop album and received offers from multiple major labels.

As of Summer 2010, Stern relocated to New York but spends much of his time on the road with Sam and running creative and business for Eighties Babies USA. Both projects are thriving and Stern just took two more steps forward while you were reading this bio.
