Need help promoting yourself or your company?  Having trouble drawing traffic to your site?  Advertising is obviously a good answer to these questions, but how you go about doing it seems to be the problem.  We all think that everyone should know that we have the fastest cars or the best technology.  Imagine yourself a web browser for a second and think about the ads you see.  A lot of them say that they have the best this and the best that.  What makes one different than the other? It’s possible that you do have the fastest cars, but what else do you have to offer?  Dig deeper.

The Investor’s Business Daily explained a study by Opinion Research, which was sponsored by Adfusion.  The study found that, “consumers prefer ads that storify brand data to banner ads, pop-up ads, e-mail offers, or sponsored links.”  51% of people in the study say they’re “very likely” or somewhat likely” to read and follow the story advertisement.  The study also showed the least popular ads to be Pop-ups.

In essence, before making your next online ad think about your brand and your story.  This will give you an edge.  Once the browser gets to your homepage you can then tell them that you are best.
